The Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPSE) was established in 1997. Its present structure reflects the declared intention of the academic staff to cover domains and subdomains which are scientifically and professionally related.
Integrating high academic standards and a broad educational offer, FPSE provides initial training and continuing education in the field of Psychology and Educational Sciences. The programmes of study are conducted in Romanian, English, Hungarian and German.

Psychology Field

  1. Specialisation Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy (in Romanian) - full time
  2. Specialisation Psychological Techniques for Controlling Behaviour and Development of Human Potential (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria (for specialisations 1, 2):

  • The score of the graduation exam - 20%
  • Interview based on a text of maximum 4 pages on a topic relevant for the master's thematic - 80%.
  1. Specialisation Psychology of Public and Clinical Health (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 20%
  • Interview based on a scientific paper or research project or an intervention on a relevant theme for the public health psychology or clinical and psychosomatic health psychology - 80%
  1. Specialisation Human Resources Psychology and Organizational Health (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 20%
  • Interview based on a research project/ intervention or a theoretical essay on a topic relevant to human resource psychology, organizational psychology or organizational health - 80%
  1. Specialisation Counselling and Psychological Interventions in Human Development (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 20%
  • Defence of project or research paper (research project, prevention/ intervention programme, etc.) revolving around subdomains considered by the master's programme - 80%.
  1. Specialisation Judicial Psychology (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 20%
  • Defence of applied research project or presentation of informative synthetic file revolving around themes considered by the master's programme - 80%
  1. Specialisation Counselling and Psychological Intervention (in Hungarian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 30%
  • Defence of previously elaborated research project - 70%

Educational Sciences Field

  1. Specialisation School Counselling and Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance (in Romanian) - full time and part time learning
  2. Specialisation Instructional designer (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria (for specialisations 8, 9):

  • Grade for the defence of the research project on a domain-related theme (around 5 pages).
  1. Specialisation Speech Therapy and Educational Audiology (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 30%
  • Grade for defence of project or research paper (research project, prevention/ intervention programme, etc.) revolving around subdomains considered by the master's programme - 70%
  1. Specialisation Management, Counselling and Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance in Inclusive Institutions (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 30%
  • Grade for oral examination consisting of a presentation of a research project in the field of the master's programme - 70%
  1. Specialisation Didactics of German Language and Literature, Central and South-Eastern Europe German Culture and Civilization (in German) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Score of the graduation exam - 30%
  • Grade to the oral examination which consists in the presentation of a research project in German (of maximum 5 pages) on a theme which is relevant for the master's thematics - 70%
  1. Specialisation Curriculum Management (in Romanian) - full time and part time learning

Selection criteria:

  • Admission is done in descending order according to score
  • Score of the graduation exam - 40%
  • Grade to the oral examination which consists in the presentation of a paper/ project no longer than 5 pages on a theme which is relevant for the subdomains targeted by the master's programme. The candidate will present the printed paper/ project when sitting for the exam - 60%
  1. Specialisation Alternative Methods and Practices in Elementary and Early Childhood Education (in Hungarian) - full time
  2. Specialisation Strategies for Effective Learning (Odorheiu Secuiesc) (in Hungarian) - full time

Selection criteria (for specialisations 14, 15):

  • Score of the graduation exam - 30%
  • Presentation of research project on a theme chosen by the candidate in the field of the master's programme. Project will be submitted with the file upon registration. - 70%

Selection criteria (for specialisations 16)

  • Defence of a research project on a domain-related theme (around 5 pages).
