Education in the field of Theology at the Faculty of Reformed Theology
The Faculty of Reformed Theology is a young faculty of the Babeș-Bolyai University, serving to equip a new generation of teachers from Transylvania with extensive knowledge in reformed theology, Protestant church culture and Biblical spirituality, capable to preach the spiritual and intellectual heritage of the reformers with belief, prophetic faith and devotion. This goal is symbolized by a phrase well known in our region: "Church and school." The faculty departments are equipped with a modern building infrastructure for quality education and research and a well prepared teaching staff.
Education in the field of Theology provides

Theology Field

  1. Specialisation: DIDACTIC REFORMED THEOLOGY (3 years, full time) in Hungarian

Selection criteria:

  • Interview (preliminary test) on a Pass/Fail basis
  • The baccalaureate score calculated as 75% of the admission score.
  • The baccalaureate score to a discipline in the field of theology (for graduates of theoretical studies high schools) or the grade to Romanian language and literature or Hungarian language and literature or the grade to a discipline in the field of humanities (upon choice) - calculated as 25% of the final score

  Music Field

  1. Specialisation: MUSIC , (3 years, full time) in Hungarian

Selection criteria:

  • Musical Skills (practical test) (preliminary test) on a Pass/Fail basis;
  • The baccalaureate score calculated as 50% of the admission score;
  • General musical knowledge test covering the musical theory syllabus in the 9th-12th grade specialized textbooks (oral examination) - calculated as 50% of the admission score.
